WEEK OF THE 13TH OCTOBER MISCELLANEOUS

A butterfly browsed all the plants in my garden.

The fountains have been illuminated with changing color schemes.

Though they don't dance to the music, loud music plays constantly, even during the day, though the lights only shine at night.

Yellow, blue and red.

On a clear day you can see Brazzaville from Kinshasa, the two closest national capitals in the world.

Panorama from the roof looking West.

Panorama looking North.

Students lined up at St. Anne's waiting for the morning homily.

The central train station and fountain ponds.

Panorama looking East.

Construction next door.

Headmaster and the Priest in the wings waiting to deliver the homily to the assembled students, every day at 7h30.

Moonlight from outside of our apartment looking East.

Moonlight over the fig tree.

Sue studying in our living room.

Freshly caught fish from the Congo on sale by the river walk. the one on theright was still breathing. Note the elephant nose on the left.

A few days after the butterfly visited, voila, we have caterpillars on my little grapefruit tree started from seed. I don't know if it can support four of them to maturity, but we will be gone when they pupate and will not know.

Closeup of the caterpillar.
