ON THE ROAD TO POINTE NOIRE VIA BRAZZAVILLE

Flowers on arbor covering the porch at the TA building. We stopped there on our way to the Beach to embark on the boat for Brazzaville. These were a bit unusual.

On the boat looking back at the quai where the logs await shipment which we can see from our rooftop.

Leaving the Beach embarkation docks looking at an island in the river.

Olivier on the left and another church employee who accompanied us.

View of the dock area in Kinshasa.

View toward Brazzaville.

My companion actually smiling on the boat, not her favorite part of our trip.

We attended an Interweave training meeting organized by Olivier.

Taxis make up 75% of the traffic. They are blue and white. In Brazzaville they are green and white. In Kinshasa they are no uniform color, and they are battered and falling apart.
