POINTE NOIRE WHEATLEY DEPARTURE

The mosquito net on the frame that I built. It would make a good butterfly raising cage.

A broad piece of cellophane tape makes a good pair of glasses.

Member family plus a couple of borrowed kids.

Kids in the courtyard.

Oil palm fruit in a palm.

Palm fiber after the fruit is pressed out. The seed contains a hard edible nut. The fiber is used to lite charcoal.

Leaving after a visit.

The Wheatley's good friends, and brother and sister-in-law to Nitch from Brazzaville.

Old white "guy" surfing, shot at a hundred yards with my zoom, and cropped.

The only shore bird we have seen to date, shot with zoom and cropped.

Supply boat headed out to a platform, a big business here. There are private restaurants for oil company employees

View up the beach toward the Chinese restaurant that we may try some day.

We walk on the road by the beach, child playground in the background by a resort.

Coconut palms.

Road view.

Generator at the Chapel.

Water tower and Elder Wheatley inspecting it.

Happy Elders and baptism candidates.

Sister Wheatley in a dress she had made.

The dress maker.

Happy family.

After Church farewell gathering and photo-op.

Another.

Mohawk corn rows.

Everyone wants a photo.

Study in green.

Members get water at the chapel on Sunday.

Take mine, take mine!

Choir singing farewell.

Good friends come to say farewell and leave a gift.

Gracia brought a carved gift of wengi wood.
