POINTE NOIRE IN DECEMBER

No need to comment, except we didn't expect to see one here.

I spoke with the artist who had studied at the University in Brazzaville. He is in his fifties and a kind gentleman. I like the Zebras which are a treat for the eyes. Artists of varying skill and style display their works hung on the facade of the local Post Office.

The central train station is across the round point from the Post office.

The following are a few photos of the showroom of a Lebanese construction and furnishing company that remodeled the kitchen in our chapel. They do wonderful work. They started out selling makeup products years ago and expanded into many other businesses.

Our dear friend and branch President, Brother Caillet, who showed us this place.

Priesthood meeting at Aeroport Branch. We are on the third floor during a pounding rain storm, notice water running down the corner wall.

Home in the rain.

Car wash.

Sundown at the beach.

Our Pointe Noire missionaries on P-day. It was probably at this moment of distraction that a back pack was stolen. The missionaries ran down the beach looking for the malefactors but only found the empty back pack. The thieves missed the MP3 player, and left the planner in the pouch. The police were confident they would retrieve the camera and debit card but we are doubtful.

Evidently there are fish in the ocean near the beach. Several fisherman were casting their lines. This one caught a large guitar fish.

Sunset at the beach.

Happy beach goers loading up for the ride home.

Some ride in the back.
